Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto stated that Nvidia, Amazon Web Services, DocuSign, CrowdStrike, and Cloudflare have expressed interest in investing in Indonesia.

He held meetings with executives from United States–based digital companies on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Annual Meeting 2026 in Davos, Switzerland, on Thursday, January 23.

Taking place at the Indonesia Pavilion, Airlangga discussed potential investment opportunities with a number of U.S. digital companies. The companies that conveyed interest included Nvidia, Amazon Web Services, DocuSign, CrowdStrike, and Cloudflare.

The meeting with business representatives from the digital economy sector was a follow-up to ongoing global tariff negotiations. As is known, Indonesia and the United States are currently engaged in such negotiations.

Representing Indonesia’s business community, Nongsa Digital Park was also present. The entity serves as the operator of the Batam Special Economic Zone (SEZ). During the meeting, discussions covered digital economy trends and potential investment development in Indonesia, particularly in data centers, cybersecurity, and digital infrastructure.

Meanwhile, the agenda of several ministers in Davos was to accompany President Prabowo Subianto at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2026. Prabowo stated that peace and stability are the most valuable assets possessed.

“Both are not luxuries, but rather fundamental prerequisites for economic growth and shared prosperity,” Prabowo said in his speech at the WEF Annual Meeting 2026, quoted on Monday, January 26.

Airlangga assessed that the president had clearly and comprehensively outlined priority economic programs under his leadership. This was carried out by encouraging collaboration between the government and the business sector.

“He also emphasized the approach to leading Indonesia, where social policies must increase productivity, and productivity must generate growth,” Airlangga said.
